Dance Anthems 2024

Owain was commissioned by UK Proms to arrange and orchestrate approx. 2 hours of classic dance anthems for the Dance Anthems Orchestra.

To programme, mix and produce the backing tracks, Owain collaborated with the talented musician Owen Gurry.

The show features a 30 piece orchestra, soloists, DJ and Dancers - performing some of the most loved dance tracks from the past 4 decades, including:

Strings of Life, Unfinished Sympathy, Music Sounds Better with You, Lola’s Theme, One More Time, Porcelain, You Got The Love, Freed from Desire, Feel the love, Bounce, Rhythm Is a Dancer, Outro, Adagio for Strings, Cafe del Mar, Sandstorm, Right Here Right Now, 9PM Till I come, Better Off Alone, Everybody’s Free, Insomnia, Ride on Time, Summertime Sadness and Children.

In addition to arranging and orchestrating classic dance anthems, Owain also specially composed, arranged and orchestrated the Overture, which opens the show.

The 2024 tour visits iconic locations such as Attingham Park in Shrewsbury, Bolsover Castle in Derbyshire, Greystoke Castle in Cumbria and Plas Newydd on Anglesey.

Dance Anthems 2025

The 2025 edition of Dance Anthems Orchestra is turning up the energy with an expanded playlist, featuring even more legendary tracks.

Get ready for a brand-new Basement Jaxx suite, plus electrifying anthems like The Bongo Song, Castles in the Sky, What is Love?, Rhythm of the Night, and many more.

This year, the show will be visiting even more breathtaking venues including Attingham Park, Harewood House, Plas Newydd, Carlisle Castle, Whitby Abbey, Pendennis Castle, and Bolsover Castle.
