Symphonasia

Symphonasia explores how movement, AI, art, and music can come together in a shared immersive space. Inspired by interactive drawing and musical composition, it harnesses cutting-edge AI-assisted computer vision to enable participants to create and share unique soundscapes, blending visual and musical phrases in real time.

Funded by Media Cymru’s Seed Fund, this collaboration brings together composer Owain Llwyd, artist João Saramago, and software developer Stephen Banbury, who specialises in AI.

With simple hand movements, participants transform gestures into evolving soundscapes and dynamic visuals, making artistic expression accessible to all—no prior musical or artistic experience required.

Our goal is to break down creative barriers, offering an inclusive, interactive experience that inspires connection and storytelling. Stay tuned for updates as we develop and test this exciting project!
